Results Management

The Results Manager Station on the Staff Portal allows Administrators to enter, review, and publish results. This feature was first developed for virtual events in 2020, but can be used for any regatta. Creating Races

To create races, click the green button in the top right that says "Create Race(s)." In the pop-up that appears you have several actions you can take: 

  • Decide Race Type 
    • Head/Time Trial
    • Distance over Time
    • Dual
  • Distance/Duration 
    • Text field
  • Progression
    • Finals Only
  • Start Time
    • Text field?? 


Once you've decided on all these settings, then you need to choose which events to create races for. You can click the "Check All" box, or select certain events to create races. 

  • Need information on different timing vendors, etc. 

Click the "Create" button, and the races will be created! 

Reviewing/Changing Results

To see specific boats or entries, click anywhere in the blue heading or the plus sign on the far right. 


In the Blue Header there is: 

  • Race Number
  • Edit Pencil
  • Trashcan symbol
  • Event Date
  • Title
  • Final 1???
  • Race Status
  • (Re)Calculate Times and Places
  • Minimize/maximize 


For each entry

  • Blade Design
  • Lane Number
  • Status
  • Club
  • Penatlty 
  • Move
  • Points
  • Athlete Name(s)
  • Athlete Result(s)
  • Overall Time
  • Handicap
  • Adj. Time


If your regatta is configured to allow people to submit their own times, then you'll see results already populated. 

Change/Update Time

  • Type it out, and click button
    • Must Be 00:00:00.0 format, anything else won't work

Updating Race Status (Publishing Results)


However, none of the results are public until you change the Race Status to one of them that says (Public) in the title. At any time, you can click the (Re)Calculate Times and Places button to do as it says. 


Will need to change Race Status on EVERY event. 

  • If doing results submission over short period of time and you want results out, you'll need to click the orange button for each event to pull in any new entries, update any results, and then also publish them.
